The Assembly is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, consisting of : Jim Caplan, Tom Curtis, Gail Sherman, Paul Stankus, and Mel Willis. The Board makes all KFCA policy decisions, approves the budget, and works with the President and Staff. The Board has regularly scheduled monthly meetings (special meetings are called as necessary) to review community needs and vote on various issues such as the budget, changes or additions to the governing documents, contract and service provider selections, etc. Officers of the Board of Trustees:

Each regular meeting also features an open forum, where residents can address the Board on a topic of their choice. Currently the Board holds working sessions on the first Tuesday of every month. These working sessions are informal discussions where the Board confers and catches up on items that will require action at the next regular meeting. The Assembly operates under an annual budget approval process. With the exception of any executive sessions held to discuss personnel or legal issues, all Board of Trustees meetings are open to every Citizen of King Farm. The Board encourages all residents to attend meetings and voice their opinions.
The Community Manager is Jennifer Gilmore. The Board and President work closely with the community manager to assess professional staffing requirements and compliance with community standards.
